Technology At St. Michael's
At St. Michael's, technology is a very important part of the curriculum. It is integrated across all subjects and staff have continuous training on how to use technology in the classroom.
At St. Michael's we use a range of technology from the interactive white boards fitted in every classroom, netpads, Chromebooks, Ipads, flip cameras to digital cameras. This enables technology to be an integral part of every child's learning at St Michael's.
With years 1-5 having individual Chrombooks and year 6 and Kindergarten using netpads and Ipads technology plays an integral part in every school day.
With the use Google Apps which enable more than one child to edit a document. This is an exciting time for technology development in our school.
In Term 3 children in years 1-6 will be taking home their Chromebooks and netpads to do homework. This is a great opportunity for the students to share their learning with their parents and wider family.
